Hybrid Modularized Mathematics Courses with Self-Checks

We report on the redesign of classical introductory mathematics courses on the bachelor level for students of economics and business informatics. Due to limited resources concerning teaching personnel and high participant numbers (~300 every semester in economics,~150 every year in business informatics) we count on automation and digitalization. We converted classical 3-ECTS-monolythic courses into a modularized flipped classroom concept consisting of 6 thematic blocks with fully automated exams and a high ratio of asynchronous course components.
